What makes Melt Luxe wax better?
Melt Luxe is the better choice for luxury home fragrance because we focus on safety and superior performance:
- Clean Melting: We use 100% natural soy wax, which means you get a cleaner, longer-lasting, and soot-free melt experience compared to traditional waxes.
- Worry-Free Fragrance: Our fragrance oils are 100% Phthalate-free, guaranteeing a worry-free and safe aroma for your family and pets.
- Quality & Strength: Every single bar is meticulously hand-poured in small batches, guaranteeing the highest quality and an incredibly strong, room-filling scent throw every time.
Luxury Look: Our signature gold flakes create a beautiful, mesmerizing shimmer while melting, turning your warmer into a luxurious centerpiece and making your melts the perfect, ready-to-gift indulgence.
Can I exchange or return my product?
Due to the nature of Melt Luxe products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
How do I clean the old wax?
Good news, soy wax is softer which makes it easier to clean. We recommend two quick and easy methods for residue-free removal:
- The Absorb Method (When Liquid): Turn off your warmer. Drop 2-3 cotton balls or a small wad of paper towel directly into the liquid wax. They will quickly soak it up. Discard the material in the trash.
- The Pop-Out Method (When Solid): Allow the wax to cool completely. If it doesn't easily pop out, turn the warmer on for just 1-2 minutes, then turn it off.
This slight heat will loosen the bottom layer, allowing you to gently slide the solid wax "puck" right out.
Safety Reminder: Always discard wax in the trash. Never pour melted wax down a sink or drain.
My wax has "frosting" or a white coating. Is it still safe to use?
Yes, the wax melts are still safe to use as this is natural in soy waxes.
Do your wax melts expire?
Wax melts do not necessarily expire, but the scent quality can decline slowly overtime. The most common changes are:
Scent Fade: The fragrance oils in the wax are volatile (they evaporate slowly). Over many months (typically 12 to 18 months), you may notice the scent throw is not as strong as when the melt was new.
Color Fade: Exposure to light, even indirect light, can cause any dyes or natural colors in the wax to lighten. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the melt's performance.
How to Keep Your Melts Fresh:
To preserve the strength of your Melt Luxe fragrances, we recommend storing them in a cool, dark place.
My wax melt bar arrived snapped or broken. What should I do?
We are so sorry your bar didn't arrive in one piece! While we do our best to package them securely, the shipping journey can sometimes be a bit bumpy.
The good news: Broken wax still smells just as amazing! Since you need to break the bar into chunks to use it anyway, a snap here or there won't affect the scent throw or performance of your melt. However, if your order arrived severely damaged or crushed, please email us/contact us at meltluxe@yahoo.com with a photo within 48 hours so we can make it right!
My wax melt bar has a hue/discoloration, what should I do?
At Melt Luxe, we prioritize clean ingredients. Some of our fragrance oils may develop a soft hue over time, and our natural botanicals may occasionally "bleed" their botanical colors into the wax. This is a completely natural process and ensures you are receiving a product free from heavy chemical stabilizers.
